Spot the tunnel under the Castle hill at the Buda end of the
bridge as well at the station where you can catch the funicular
up Castle hill. A great view of Pest can be glimpsed here at the

side and get off at the Oktogon. After admiring the place, walk
down Andrassy up toward the Danube. Will take you 15/20 minutes
or else you can take the oldest Metro in all of Europe and get out
at the last stop, Vorosmarty, and this will bring you near Vaci
utca the main shopping area, or you can chill out in Gerbeaud and
have a pastry and tea. Walk towards the Danube and you will be back
